Challenge: NursePros is a pediatric home nursing agency who recently had some newly-hired staff quit. They wanted to retain quality nurses during a shortage. 

Solution: We determined that a more comprehensive onboarding course would help to prevent retention issue in the future. I designed a course for new hires to know what to expect on the job, so that the nurses and clients are happy. This course is 508 Compliant, using only Advanced Accessibility interactions.

Challenge: Call center agents at QuickConnect often possess basic communication skills but may struggle with high-stress conversations or handling customer objections effectively. This leads to lower customer satisfaction rates.

Solution: I designed a blended learning program for agents to develop techniques for empathetic listening, conversational control, and resolution strategies to improve customer satisfaction. This eLearning module with a short quiz Is the first portion of the training program. A week later, learners attend an ILT with a case study and role-playing scenarios.

Challenge: Many people managers want to support their team members' development but struggle to coach effectively during 1:1 conversations. Without a clear structure, these conversations can become directive or unfocused, limiting opportunities for growth and problem-solving.

Solution: I designed a 5-minute microlearning course in Articulate Rise to introduce the GROW model, a practical coaching framework for 1:1 meetings. The course guides learners through each step of the model using a relatable workplace scenario, interactive elements such as flashcards, sorting, and multiple choice questions, and a branching conversation with a fictional employee. A downloadable coaching cheat sheet and final knowledge check help reinforce key concepts and support real-world application. This course is intended for use as a standalone resource or as part of a broader leadership development program.

Challenge: Managers at StorageCo, a storage unit rental company, have not been consistent in following company policy during the rent delinquency and foreclosure process. This compliance problem put the company at a higher risk of legal issues.

Solution: This is the first module of a compliance course on company policy to handle the steps leading up to auction in a professional and legal manner. The module includes a branching scenario to give employees the opportunity to apply the procedures that they have learned.

Challenge: Online entrepreneurs often need guidance in establishing effective email marketing campaigns.  

Solution: I built this storyboard for a Rise course that walks learners through setting up their first campaign with ConvertKit.
